জুলাই সনদ লেখা হয়েছে ২০২৪ এর শহীদদের রক্তে। এর বার্তা একেবারে স্পষ্ট—বাংলাদেশ আর কখনোই নির্বিচারে গণহত্যা, বিচারহীনতা কিংবা অনিয়ন্ত্রিত ক্ষমতার পথে ফিরে যেতে পারে না। বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামী সনদের ব্যাপারে আপোষহীন। আমরা গণভোটে স্পষ্টভাবে “হ্যাঁ” ভোটের পক্ষে অবস্থান নিয়েছি।
আমাদের ইশতেহারে জুলাই সনদ বাস্তবায়নের স্পষ্ট ও কার্যকর পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে। অন্যরা মুখে সনদকে সম্মান জানালেও, তা বাস্তবায়নের কোনো বিশ্বাসযোগ্য পথ দেখাতে পারেনি।
আমাদের কাছে জুলাই সনদ একটি আমানত। এটি জনগণের সঙ্গে একটি অঙ্গীকার। নির্বাচনের পর প্রথম দিন থেকেই এই সনদ বাস্তবায়ন করতে হবে, যাতে আর কোনো নেতা কখনো জনগণের ইচ্ছাকে উপেক্ষা করার সাহস না দেখাতে পারে।
জুলাই শহীদদের রক্ত বৃথা যেতে পারে না।
The July Charter is written with the blood of the July 2024 martyrs. It carries a clear message, Bangladesh must never again return to arbitrary killing, impunity or unchecked power. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has not shied away from this responsibility. We have stood clearly for a “Yes” vote in the referendum.
Our manifesto reflects the July Charter not as a symbol, but as a practical plan. While others may honour the Charter in words, they fail to offer a credible path to implement the Charter.
For us, the July Charter is a responsibility. It is a contract with the people. It must be implemented the very first day after the election, so no leader can ever override the people’s will again.
Let the blood of the July martyrs not be in vain.
